Contact

If you would like to book a Rolfing treatment or discuss whether Rolfing would be right for you, please call me on 07817 694624.

Or alternatively please use the form and let me know the best time to call you back.

I work from my home studio at Plumpton Green in East Sussex. Come and have a treatment in the rural peace and quiet – easy to get to from Lewes, Brighton & Hove, Haywards Heath and Burgess Hill, with no problems parking.

The studio is also only 5 minutes walk from Plumpton railway station. I can however, arrange for space at the River Clinic, Lewes if preferred.

Before booking a session, please read through the Booking an Appointment, Terms & Conditions and Privacy Policy below.

Scheduling Sessions

Before arranging a session we will hopefully have spoken by telephone to discuss what is going on with your body and what you hope to achieve by having going through the Rolfing Process.
I recommend that you book one session first which should give you an idea of whether Rolfing will suit you. Once you decide to continue you can book the remaining nine sessions in the series or alternatively book two more sessions. The first three sessions can be of great benefit even though we tend to address only the surface layers and most obvious strain patterns. If after session three you decide that you would like to continue with Rolfing it is advisable to commit to all of the remaining seven sessions in the series so that any deep issues which emerge can be given a chance to be fully resolved.
I work Monday to Friday from 8am plus alternate Saturdays. To be assured of a regular time slot which suits you, it is advisable to schedule as many sessions as possible in advance.
Please allow 90 minutes for the first session, as we will need to go through your medical history. After the first appointment, the sessions will last between 60-90 minutes.
If you would like to book an appointment please call me on 07817 694624 or email me at [email protected]

Fees

The cost of a session is £80.

Payment

•On the day with cash or a cheque
•Before the session with a bank transfer, please request my bank details if you would like to pay directly into my account

Cancelation Policy

As I am running a small business, I am sure you can appreciate that if I have no notice of a cancellation, I will be out of pocket. Missed appointments will be charged at full fee if less than 48 hours notice is given.
Pease notify me via telephone, text or email as soon as you know that you will be unable to keep your appointment. If I can fill the space I will let you know and there will be no charge.

What To Wear

The sessions normally take place in underwear, so please choose something that you feel comfortable to be seen in. Please do not wear bicycle shorts, or for ladies please do not wear sports bras with heavy lycra as both of these are difficult to work around. Normal underwear or swimwear works well. For men it is probably more comfortable to be in containing briefs/shorts rather than too baggy boxer shorts.

How You Can Help To Get The Most From Your Sessions?

Rolfing doesn’t force change – it invites it. It is not a passive process, which is “done” to you but a joint effort between Rolfer and client to explore new options and possibilities in an open and safe environment. It is important therefore that you be fully involved trying to stay present during your sessions. I often provide ‘homework’ in the form of simple exercises and recommend that you commit to doing these from week to week to get the most out of your process.

My Commitment

Rolfers are trained to be fully supportive of their client’s process, during, between and for a reasonable time after treatment. I am therefore, always available to discuss any concerns, which come up for you as a result of the work and can also refer you on to another specialist if your issue is beyond my scope as a Rolfer.

Safety, Confidentiality and Code of Ethics

Rolfers are bound by a strict code of ethics and receive extensive training in how to ‘create a container in which change can happen’. This means creating an environment and working practice in which both the Rolfer and the client can feel comfortable. This involves setting and maintaining clear and appropriate boundaries and ensuring that all client information is kept strictly confidential. For more information on this please go to www.rolf.org

Liability

Rolfing is contraindicated for people with certain medical conditions. It is your responsibility to declare all medical conditions at the outset or obtain the consent of your doctor if you are unsure.
My professional liability insurance is held with Balens. A full copy of the policy is available on request.
